Summer!

Ah...summer is here.  So much more daylight and warm weather.  Many people have asked me if I'll be going back to Europe this year.  Nope...instead my wife and I are spending as much time as we can with our 15 year old Australian Shepherd.  We will be going on more local trips around California with him.  And besides, people come from around the world to our location with all it's beauty.  

This year's Silicon Valley Open Studios went well.  But it was very hot!  It was a pleasure meeting so many people who came by and truly appreciate the collectors who came to see me.  

In June I was part of the juried show at the Pacific Art League in Palo Alto.  The show was titled Summer Exposure.  They juried in my large 36x36 painting "Trail to Mission Peak".  

I was also juried into the "Cityscapes" art show by Fusion Art.  They selected the small "Top of California Street" painting for the show.
